It's WHOOOHOOOO friday!

Sorry to be absent for so long, been a busy, crazy summer. My baby will officially be a "high schooler" in less than a week, lord that makes me feel old...and tired. So, we have been getting ready for high school, he got a new trumpet and all the accessories for marching band. He is so pumped about marching and playing at the football games. Mornings this week have been spent at the school practicing music and formations, evenings I find him in his room watching TV and studying his "charts" for formations. They look kinda like a cross stitching pattern to me, teeny tiny boxes with even tinier letter/number in each box & he can point without even squinting to show me where he is supposed to be. Let me just tell you, I don't get it-I would be the idiot out there in the wrong place because looking at that chart and picturing myself marching out there on that field doesn't connect!
Since I won't be at work tomorrow (thank goodness!) I am wishing my older sister a Happy Happy Birthday!

By the luck of the draw (as they say) I will see Lenyse tomorrow, she will be in town for a wedding and get to hug her neck! She will also be here, if I remember correctly for some training for her new job! So hope you all have a great weekend, I have no specific plans other than the usual catching up on chores, grocery shopping ect. Maybe, just maybe, I will get some time in my scrap room....
